Our Team

IOSHEM consultants, trainers and associates are drawn from various sectors and are competent to fulfill their roles. Each of the services provided by the Institute is facilitated by personnel who have extensive hands on experience in their fields.

IOSHEM uses an intensive and rigorous vetting process to ensure it attracts personnel who will meet every facet of customer needs. Growth and development through training for the personnel is an ongoing process commensurate to the duties discharged. Time and again, guest facilitators with special expertise in some advanced programmes offered by IOSHEM will facilitate sessions.

Fulfilling customer needs is critical to the running of our business. That is why our personnel are modeled towards ensuring this happens. Our personnel are affiliated to such organizations as the Kenya Occupational Health and Safety Association, Association of Consulting Engineers, Kenya amongst others.

• Ms. Rita Ndonye

• The CEO and Founding Director, Ms. Rita Ndonye, has vast experience in auditing, training and consulting within East Africa and Southern African regions. She has a Masters in Business Administration from United States International University – Africa, specializing in Strategic Management, and a Master of Safety, Health and Environment degree from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
  
  She has been involved in the establishment of Occupational health and safety, and environment management systems in the manufacturing industry for over 10 years. She is conversant with management systems and has successfully implemented of ISO 9001:2000, OHSAS 18007 and ISO 14001 industry.

• Mr. Derek Ndonye

• 
• Mr. Derek Ndonye is a Director of IOSHEM Africa Limited. He is a practicing advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Certified Secretary, as well as a Trainer. Mr. Ndonye is Managing Partner of Muriithi and Ndonye Advocates. An astute businessman and practicing advocate, he has had extensive experience of court practice throughout Kenya and has delivered courses on law and legislation in various tertiary institutions. He has extensively litigated on cases that directly involve the practice of occupational health and safety in work places. He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, the Institute of Certified Secretaries and the International Commission of Jurists among others.
